I never thought about that but now that you mention it...yes, many are bare.

 

 

Do you think what a person's parents did (hair or bare) may influence their own idea of which is better?

 

My household was fairly "open". I often would wander into the bathroom with my mother and ask "what are you doing?!" and seeing her hair, periods, etc. I also saw my father get dressed for bed almost every night and he has a lot of hair too.

Maybe that could have influenced my idea of what I like for myself and men in general?

haha ya, it is gross.

I'm not sure about being influenced that way but for some reason, even when I was far from sexually active, I trimmed at a young age. I didn't watch porn or know what I was doing it for, I just hated it untrimmed. I think I shaved years before anyone even saw what I was shaving lol

I guess a good part is personal preference. I wouldn't just write it off on "modern porn", although that could be a factor.

 

We are all hairless at one point down there...maybe you just felt uncomfortable once things started to grow in? I know I was, just too scared to shave! haha.

Yeah my man's face is very sensitive to razor bumps (I don't let him shave down there hehe) so he uses TendSkin. It's amazing stuff. Like I said it stings, but it's worth it to have it so smooth.

 

There are other products out there, but that's the one that works for me - I'm sure different skin types need different things.

My girlfriend likes to keep herself shaved. I, personally, prefer her shaved or very trimmed. Without trying to be "too" graphic, it's easier to get everywhere and slide around a bit down there without hair. But there are times when she feels like growing it a bit, and that is fun too. If she wanted to be "natural" I would be completely fine with that. After all, it's HER body. She turns me on like no other, hair or not. And she prefers me trimmed. And that is fine with me.

Me too. I really do hate shaving (makes me feel like I'm a child) so I'm glad I found a guy who likes hair.

 

It's more that I don't like the attitude of some younger guys (not all--certainly not all, not even by a long shot). "I can't stand hair on a woman," "such and such grosses me out," or "a woman should/shouldn't be_____"

 

I would never share my body with a guy like that. I'd feel like I had to be pornstar perfect.

Ha! No I'd also need a personal body waxer to get every last disgusting hair that has unnaturally sprouted up on my body.

 

And breast implants, I'd definitely need breast implants.

The guys I have talked to and slept with liked it shaved or trimmed. They never told me what to do or not to do tho, I just kept myself trimmed. I doubt any guy complains when the hair is neatly trimmed. Going natural is gross imo. I once saw another woman natural down there and it made me wanna throw up.

 

And about the generation thing...Don't ask me how I know this, but my grandpa used to buy hair removal powders or creams for my grandma to use down there, lol.

You'd be surprised at the fantasy image of women that some guys my age hold! I've heard so many dumb comments about what's "nasty!" or "unacceptable!" for a woman. Have fun not getting laid.

 

You know, this is what they say. In reality, they take whatever they can get. I know guys who always went on and on about how a girl should look like or what is beautiful, I met their gfs and they were nothing like you would think they would be.

Yeah, I totally understand where you come from. I've never been with a guy with that kind of attitude. The thing is tho, their gfs probably don't even know they think like that, lol. Like I said they brag to others but act another way for their girls.

Well no one's perfect, Even if a guy wasn't serious about saying "a girl should be this or that", I think I'd still feel kinda bad if I didn't meet those high standards.

 

teabee, breast implants??? Ugh, no way. I think breasts are overrated. Mine are H-U-G-E. The thing is to, I lost weight and while my waist/tummy got smaller, the boobs didn't! So hard to buy shirts and my boyfriend isn't even into boobs! *headdesk*

 

Bottom line: as long as I find a guy who will like me for me then I am good

I thought they lowered milk yield. Don't they warn people about to get implants that they may not be able to breastfeed in the future? Or is that just for those who seek reductions?

 

I mean, you're shoving in 2 silicon "pads" and then moving the fat around so it "fits" then sew it back up...something is bound to get screwed up

I find it weird (and disturbing) how people automatically liken bareness to pedophilia. Preferences are just that and everyone is entitled to them. I also agree with Teabee's sentiment that not being open to certain preferences of your partner and guilting them into one thing or the other is awful and immature but sheesh! lol

 

When I feel like shaving, it isn't so I look like a child! I'm a grown woman still...

Oh thank you I was thinking this exact same thing. I'm a young woman, my man is obsessed with my body - how does me being clean shaven suddenly mean he's a pedophile? Last time I checked my curves are not that of an 8 yr old girl ;]

 

I personally feel cleaner, and I love (not to get too graphic) how he can slide himself all over me, it's hot.
