acousticlayla Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 My bf breaks up with me a few weeks before the prom, asks someone else to go with him within days (but she rejected him), and then gets angry when I find a new date (who happens to be a mutual friend of ours and neither me nor this guy has any romantic interest in the other). I don't understand this. He doesn't want me, so he should not care who I go to prom with. I also have reason to believe that he liked this other girl that he asked to prom for a long time. A couple of people have said he asked her out right before we got together but she rejected him. So, I was obviously a second choice and never mattered much to him anyway. Why does he care that I'm going to prom with someone else? Link to comment
