I thought that myself...but then I remembered that NC isn't to do with the other person, it's about yourself and not wanting them to talk to you anymore. I know that doesn't really help, I told myself that as soon as I thought it. I think through the whole NC thing, you don't want to contact them, but at the same time you're also desperately searching for a reason to do just that. And you've got to resist!

NC shouldn't be initiated in the hopes of the other party 'making the first move'.

When NC is implemented, it is either done so someone can heal and then resume contact to enter a friendship OR it should be implemented as an indefinite measure.

 

It's not a game and as such, a "stand-off" shouldn't ensue.

I think dumpers should be the ones thats breaks NC, since they decided that they no longer want you.

I would give my ex a second chance if she breaks NC ONLY to tell me that she was too harsh on me and that she recognizes she is wrong. If her pride doesn't let her admit she is wrong, then I dont want her.
