Will a family hold onto their deceased loved ones belonging if it's their wish?

I have a journal filled with stories about a fictional pedophile. It's not pornographic and it's written in a really goofy and silly way. The pedo is only attracted to childrens belly button and obsessed with having children eat candy out of his belly button. It's just dramtic in a weird goofy way with funny awkward situations with the pedo trying to get to childrens belly buttons.

I was really curious about what my family would do with it if I were to die. A lot of people I talked to online about it said my family would probably throw out the journal because of what it's about, feel disappointed in me, feel embarassed by it if it was something they came accross after I died. SO I added a little paragraph at the front of the journal saying that no one is allowed to trash it if I were to die and that I want to get the stories published. By the way I'm still very young and have no plans to die any time soon. It's just something I wondered about because I don't want people to throw out anything of mine that's important to me.

Anyway, will putting my wishes in writing possibly make them hold onto it if they know that's what I would have wanted? Do you think they would try getting it published?
