brigirl92 Posted January 30, 2015 Share Posted January 30, 2015 I had a wonderful day. I kept busy. I went out and got makeup on sale with my sister. I went to a friend of the family's house for dinner and was happy for the five hours I was there. Then I head home. The day is winding down. My mind goes straight to him. It sucks that all my down time is practically spent thinking about him. Instead of reaching for my phone to check up on him, I journaled my feelings. And now I feel a lot better. Link to comment

Keeping a diary of how you feel is always a really great thing to do, it always helps me Link to comment

Day by day your thoughts will drift towards him less and less. It sounds like you're doing great! Keeping busy, surrounding yourself w/ friends/family and taking care of yourself.
