What keeps you going on those days when everything just goes completely wrong?

My children, nothing else..... If I did not have them I would not be here

My friends, my family, my potential, the future (who knows what it holds??) The beauty of each day, the cold wind or rain on my face....the thought of watching my favourite movie and snuggling up in bed.

 

So many things.

Just thinking of the future, there are so many things possible! Travelling, moving cities, new friends, new job, new love etc.

 

But when everything else fails, my dog keeps me going because I know no one else could look after her and I'm her favourite!

A lot of things I can not mention here and my son and the fact I feel I have a lot to offer the world. I have a lot left to do in my life.

My family, the success that I have provided myself in my own life, the curiosity in wanting to know what is going to happen today and tomorrow. I think the one big thing is that I am adopted, and I was almost aborted before I was born. Its like a second chance, something I don't want to give up easily.

 

Why do you ask this question? Is there something troubling you?

Well, I have been experiencing periods of time in which I question why it is that I keep trying (concerning many things) despite the fact that my efforts always seem to go awry. This particularly pertains to my relationship with my boyfriend (and our disagreements), and my health (which has been on a decline for the past 5 months). In addition to this, I just seem to be having bad luck in general lately...

 

I ask this question because I am looking for some inspiration as to what others use for motivation to get through the day when it's just not going very well.
