Promiscuous but holy...?

Maybe this is something only I have noticed: many women, especially quite promiscuous (or promiscuous-looking) or even pornstars, regularly wear a (Christian) cross on their neck.

 

I wonder why because I rarely see "normal" Christians wear the cross so often.

 

Could it be that these people want to be holy/religious but still have fun, or something like that?

Or is it just because they want to be seen as holy?

wearing a cross doesn't mean you are holy. Or trying to come off as holy. It's a symbol that *might* mean you are Christian. For other people it has other meanings.

 

If a woman has a profession that would cause most people to believe that she isn't Christian, like a porn star or a stripper, then she might be more likely to ware a cross if it's important to her that people know her faith. Or it might just be a neckless she likes. Or it might be intended to shock people.

I am so turned on when I see women wearing crosses. This is because, in my city, Christian women were more liberal, fashionable than women from other religions. They were also more open to sexual acts too, before marriage, that is.

I'm sure if you compiled the actual stats, the majority of cross-wearers aren't porn stars. And that the majority of porn stars aren't religious.

 

It's just that you notice the bling on the nakedness.

A cross is quite a popular "goth" symbol, most of them wear it for that rather than any religious connotations.

Skull and crossbone motifs are also exremely popular right now, but it doesn't mean that those who wear such a scarf or a tee shirt are pirates!

 

People are attracted to all kinds of designs, crosses, circles, squares, etc. And no one symbol means the same thing to all people, or in fact anything at all.

Although discussion on religion is prohibited in this forum, I still have a question for you.

 

What makes a pornstar or a promiscuous person less Christian than a person who DIVORCES his/her partner, that they should be judged upon if they wear a cross in there neck? What makes you a better Christian who watches PORNSTARS in porn movies rather than be satisfied with one woman/man in your life that you wearing a cross won't be judged upon?

 

I can give hundreds of examples like that where we ignore to judge people who wear cross but do not follow Bible page by page. Lets not be judgmental about pronstars/promiscuous person and there reason to wear cross in there neck.

 

And if you go to church you will see 100s of NORMAL people wearing cross. But you choose to notice pornstars and promiscuous woman rather than normal people.
