TryingVeryHard
This question may have been asked before... But I you are at the point where you really don't care which way it goes (but you still want the confusion to be over), why don't you tell him either it's going to be one way or the other way... If that makes sense... Link to comment
tattoobunnie
I already have three different times...and three times too many. He had his chance. I tried. I'm at the point where it's just time to take my head out of the sand and throw in the towel. Life is just too short to give all your energy to a one-sided relationship. Link to comment
lavenderdove
^^ 100% agreed... people will sometimes drag on in FWB situations for years, until one or the other finally meets someone that thrills them and they dump the person and don't look back. The point is there's a REASON people ask to be FWB rather than a regular relationship... they just aren't committed to the person or see them as a good friend, but not a good candidate for a permanent relatinship. so they're happy to hang out in a FWB situation if they have all their freedom to jump elsewhere when they meet a better candidate for that. So you end up accepting crumbs when you should be looking for a full meal. So good for you for recognizing you're investing a lot, but not getting back what you want/need. Link to comment
