I dated a guy who was nearly as violent as that. He ended up bashing my dad one night.

 

He might not hit you but is he going to be so caring towards your dad, brothers, cousins, uncles, grandfathers? I mean, he might not hit a girl, but who's to say, if they told oyu to stay away, he wouldn't turn on them?

He just sounds sooooooo creepy. The choice of words is disturbing. Be careful, you don't know what lurks beneath the surface (beneath the words). You're so young. I'd not want to be with a violent criminal (he did actually beat someone with a baseball bat. you know it doesn't stop at words).

Observations:

 

- He doesn't respect other people.

- He overreacts.

- He wants to be allowed to vent the way he is comfortable.

- He clearly is violent.

 

Questions:

 

- Has it occurred that if he can vent on others, he can vent on you?

- If he wants to be allowed to vent, do you think he's willing to change?

- If he's unwilling to change, do you want to be the person he feels free to 'express himself' around?!!

 

I had an ex a bit like this. I left.
