We've been together a few years and I want to do something for him that isn't about buying a big present but about showing him he's special to me...I can spend a bit of money but I want to "do" something for him not just put some fancy present in front of him....I just need help thinking of some kind of nice gesture to SHOW that I think he's the best. Any ideas that you know about that would work for this? It can be really creative or simple. I have very basic idea below that maybe you could help me jazz up. -on his next day off, I'd like to make it a day where I do a bunch of things for him and with him that he'd really enjoy...I would make a special breakfast, lunch and dinner for him and in the afternoon we could play video games like we always do but then maybe take a walk together if he wanted to and I could give him a letter where I list my favourite memories and fun times so far with him, then in the evening I would take him out wherever he wanted to go. (I was thinking of playing him a song I could write with my guitar but I am not going to do that now because he may not like it.) anything else that a guy would like? It's seriously so easy to think of how to make a special day for a girl, but it's hard for me to think of how to pamper a guy in a manly way. Any ideas welcome... Link to comment

Perhaps you both can watch the sunset together or at night go on a hill or somewhere high up where you can view the glittering nightlife and make a small picnic or something or dinner. Sex. JimmerJammer Posted May 17, 2008 Share Posted May 17, 2008 Depending on how long you two were going out I have to say that what my recent ex did for me was so sweet I didn't see it coming. She found this sort of listography book of sorts that she spent time to fill out that pretty much listed everything there was to know about her. Even her deepest intimate things she told me I embraced and I can only say with utmost certainty that I felt even deeper for her than I already did. I've never had someone open up to me like that, at least not like that. It was the sweetest thing she did for me and I bet she didn't even think of it as a big deal either lol. Other than that I know I love it when she'd buy things based on habits I have, even if she was teasing me. I can laugh at myself and I loved her sense of humour. Anyways I would say that I love a little more personal touch to things when a girl gives me something. Things that normally take some sort of energy from her to do. Whether it is to find the strength to sing for me, to play a song on the guitar or to even do something sweet like share the most embarrassing and intimate things about themselves. I know one thing I would love is if a girl made me my favorite food, gave me a massage, had a bath together, maybe went for a bike ride and spent the night lying next to each other. If you got tickets to an upcoming gig, that would be great! The key to a great gift is the less chance they think you'd know they'd want it, the better... Not too sure about writing a song, could either go really well or badly! Or do you often write songs? If that's the case then it mightn't be too bad an idea... If you don't tell him it's for him, but the lyrics start off subtle, so he doesn't figure out it's for him until near the end or something... that way he can enjoy the song in its own right without feeling awkward knowing it's about him... It's too bad that most guys can't have orgasms twice in a period of a few hours...it's not that i'm sex-crazed, but some days, if we have sex in the afternoon, I want it again at night and he's like, "that's no going to happen."
