Troublewithgirls
I have a quick story for you guys. Before starting, I would like to say that I am her first BF and that she has never slept with anyone in the past. So we began the night with a few pecks on the lips, which turned into a kissing session. While kissing, I felt the urge to make a move by sliding my hand down her underwear into her private area. As soon as my hand went down, I felt something hanging outside of her vagina. I am still a virgin so I have no idea of what or where I was touching but from all the stories that I've heard, I was expecting to feel bare skin since the vagina is supposed to be tight. I've consulted with my friends about this and they claim that the loose skin is an indication that she is not a virgin. My question is, are some girls born with looser vagina's than others? What other symptoms could lead to loose vaginas? Link to comment
ryan1987
im not a woman but i know there all different! Link to comment
shadesofmediocrity
Somebody didn't take anatomy in sex ed.... What you probably felt was the inner labia. Not the actual vagina itself. Do a little research my friend. link removed Link to comment
RayKay
I agree, someone needs to study up on their anatomy. Vaginas are not just like you see in porn -and many of them have had surgery to "snip things" down there. Sounds to me like it is her labia you were feeling, which is not her "vaginal canal" though it is part of her reproductive organs. Link to comment
Dako
^ I concur. How about the rest of this woman? Link to comment
dragon111
yes but surely it shouldn't just be sticking out like that, that isn't normal! unless she is very loose Link to comment
RayKay
yes but surely it shouldn't just be sticking out like that, that isn't normal! unless she is very loose Once again, vaginas come in ALL SHAPES AND SIZES. The shape and size of her labia have NOTHING to do with whether the is a virgin, not, tight or not...at all. Many women have inner labia that extend beyond their outer labia. Link to comment
Dako
Geeze. Labia stick out, even on virgins. It's how nature makes wimmen. Link to comment
dragon111
That picture on wikipedia i don't think a woman could understand how alien that is, all the different indistinguishable parts is just confusing, and every woman is different, we havent got anthing like that so it's hard to relate, quite intimidating, i think its easier just to go in there blind lol, looks alien Link to comment

shadesofmediocrity
It's an interesting organ, I gotta say, having one myself. LOL. It goes both ways...never having been officially down there on a being of the opposite gender, that's an intimidating thing in itself. Link to comment
Troublewithgirls
So I should just go with the thought that she is a virgin? I did tell her in the beginning that I am only looking into dating a virgin... Link to comment
shadesofmediocrity
If you trust her, and if you really think you're ready and mature enough to move on to that step, that's up to you. I would really want to get a bit more of an education before going there though. There are numerous websites - not suggesting pornography, the more scientific, how-to type pages - that I'm sure can help you along your way. An ounce of prevention's worth a pound of cure, better safe than sorry, all that jazz Link to comment
Dako
Nothing to fear down there. Other things matter more. Link to comment
Mythical_Suicide
If she says she is a virgin, unless she gives you a reason to believe that she is not.. BELIEVE HER!! Doing otherwise is just wrong.. and as everyone else has said, every woman is different. Link to comment
Aleadragonhawk
There's an article at my favorite sex ed website that deals with this - link removed Link to comment
m12988
Whats so good about being a virgin? Does it make one better? I agree with the other posters....someone needs to study up on anatomy lol. And if it looks so alien....thats an immature way to look at sex. Please dont have sex til you're ready. You will only regret it later on Also, what if you find someone who totally clicks with you, and is not a virgin? See what you'd be missing? Unless you are worried about STDs or something (or it is a religious thing), i think its foolish just to want only virgins. Especially if you're not a virgin yourself. Then it becomes sexist. Troublewithgirls
That article was very helpful and provided lots of much needed insight on my behalf. We did do other things that I have not noted (I feel weird posting about this stuff) which would have gotten her aroused. I am just going to accept this as the reason why her vagina was not what I thought it was going to be and trust her in that she has never had intercourse. She is in the end, my girlfriend. Thanks everyone for the great replies! Link to comment
android12
everyone has flaws so you shouldnt "expect" a vagina to look/feel a certain way... im glad you can trust that what she says is true in the end, maybe you need to work on better communication skills? Link to comment
m12988
I'm just worried about seeing people have sex that may not know the anatomy of the other gender.......LOL. Might get the wrong hole... Link to comment

Thanks everyone for the great replies! That website in general has a lot of really good articles, and they have a forum that addresses questions about sex and sexuality specifically from teens. It might be a good resource for you to explore and familiarize yourself with now that you're getting to be sexually active - it was a livesaver for me many times over. Link to comment

The shape and size of her labia have NOTHING to do with whether the is a virgin, not, tight or not...at all. Many women have inner labia that extend beyond their outer labia. There's a very famous female cyclist, one of the most famous in the peloton, and she had to have labia reduction surgery two seasons ago because of the friction it produced on her bicycle saddle. It's not that uncommon apparently. I remember when my girlfriend was convinced that the end of the world was coming, that she had an STD, and that she surely had given it to me as well, only to find out that her labia was rubbing on her saddle. Whoops. Her's wasn't even very large at all. However, they are all different, just like the penis. Link to comment
