Manipulation in my mind is ok to an extent. If I buy a woman flowers, that is manipulation, I am trying to make her feel good. But almost every woman or man would tell me that buying her flowers is fine. If you manipulate, you may need to become what you appear to be or you will not be able to keep it up. If you cannot keep up what you msut, you will in the end fail. Link to comment

If I saw this book on a girl's bookshelf and started browsing the table of contents, I'd be pretty disturbed. I highly doubt, based on titles in the ToC, that this is a book that will improve your outlook in life. "Using the Male Mental Funnel to Get Him to Do What You Want," "How He Interprets What You Say," or "Wrapping Your Message within Your Message" sounds like the book should be named "How to maintain a highly dramatic and unfulfilling relationship."
