sex after vaginismus

first, thank you to those who replied to my last post. It was deleted for relationship reasons (boyfriend now accessing this forum).

Wanted to ask - has anyone dated a girl with/after vaginismus? Or cured her?

What sex positions worked? Did you alter your 'sex-mindset' as a result?

this site has a lot of great information. you might want to work on figuring out for yourself which positions feel better and then guide the man to help you out there.

I had it for about a year after I first started having sex...my boyfriend at the time was supportive and always willing to try different things out. What finally worked was having sex in the position where the girl would be on top, but both partners would be sitting up and facing each other. Not sure why that worked, but the more we did that the more the vaginismus went away. I'd say it was probably gone within about 6 months.

I would really welcome your experiences.

I had vaginismus, recently cured. But my partner is now experiencing the after-effects of almost a year of 'being careful' so as to not hurt me.

Basically, he hasn't yet come inside me, although he has penetrated.

Am wondering how guys deal with post-vaginismus ... is this usual??
