well we share the same group of friends unfortunately, we are tying to be friends but I know he wants more, he wont get the idea. He calls me up all the time, at least once a day and then gets all sarcastic with me!

Ive already tried that, there are only a few times where I pick up, I guess I shouldnt pick up at all.

Everyone has good ideas. When we were togther I used to say oh that guy is cute etc, it was my thing, he didnt care, I doubt it will make a difference now.

 

I think I might say Im seeing someone else, but I know the girls in my group will know Im lying and might tell him.

One of my best friends has a similar problem. I would suggest not picking up at all. Right now what you're doing is called "intermittent reinforcement." You're basically training him to harass you. His behaviour is working for him, at least part of the time, so he's going to continue doing it. Plus, the calls sound slightly abusive...so the sooner you get quit of him, the better.
