Is there more than what I have been handed?

There is this girl that I like but I think things have just gotten too complicated. I knew that there were many guys after her and that she just got out of a relationship but I knew deep inside she was different than all the others before. I decided to write her a letter because I did not want to be like the others and stand out above the rest, I also knew that she was just having enough of people talking so I wanted to make it on the low as much as possible. I eventually gave her the letter and despite what I have been through before she actually makes me nervous, where I would literally freeze in place and without control fall apart. Her reply was that she did not want to be involved in a relationship and that she would rather concentrate on school and work. However, I was told that this was the reply because she feared another broken heart as before, still I question how one would come about doing so. Since then we have gotten to be really good friends but sometimes things are good and sometimes bad. All of the emotional communication has been hidden behind words for we have never spoken about the matter face to face and yet I feel that she is waiting as I am for the right moment to do so.

 

I sometimes think that I should just go for it but at the same time I live in fear of loosing her completely. I see her on a daily basis and when I don't talk to her or see her I just ... I don't even know why I am writing this right now! I really love this girl for everything she is but things have just gotten weird. Does she think that I would get over it by now or is she waiting for me to try again. There are suttle hints but I could be wrong. I need a solution...help!

You should get over her, understand that she is a human, that she is not special more than anybody else, and that EVEN if you could get into a relationship with her - it wouldn't be as great as you would think it to be.
