Poem for those trying to tell anothe how you feel..........r

I just wrote this for those who want to be with someone, but can't get the other person to open up and don't want to rush things but don't know how not to....lemme know what you think.

 

Just give her time

 

Why does it have to be like this?

It seems the world just wants me to be pissed.

I can't seem to understand how it is

Why can't people be honest and true to dis?

 

What does it take to get into someone's heart?

To make them understand, where do I start?

Actin' too fast and way to hasteful

It makes all your actions wasteful

 

But how can someone actually have patience?

When time is definitely of the essense

When the other won't open up and be honest

Is this just one big, huge, mean test?

 

Love is supposed to come natural and easy

It's supposed to make your heart feel full and free

Listening to music and talking to friends

It's the only way these feelings end

 

But it comes back later when you least expect it

Like a nasty ol' zit

But you can't change how you feel

And even if you could you'd feel the same still

 

So, what's a brother to do?

Can't just sit saying boo hoo

But to tell her exactly what you feel for her?

You can't, or she'll scare and n' say g'bye sir

 

But then you ask how she feels about you

And she doesn't directly answer but gives a clue

But you can't disguish the good or bad

So you sit waitng feeling sad

 

Because you've never felt like this before

It's a feeling that goes down to the core

She brings out the best in all of you

Does she feel the same as you do?

 

You don't know, did you move to fast?

If she gave you chance will it actually last?

I guess you'll have to wait

Maybe she'll go out on another date

 

Just give her time, she might come around

And when she does it'll be a beautiful sound

So I leave you with a word of rhyme

Just let it be and give her time.

Camaro, that was a wonderful poem. I think that everyone here needs to read it, because it is so insiteful and relates to so many of the problems posted here. Very wonderful, and you should continue in writing poetry. you have a great talent for it!
