Date Ideas?

Anyone have some easy-going date ideas where it would be easy to talk and do something with the other person? Not anything like going to the movies. I need something original. Any ideas?

It depends on your ages. How old is he? It depends on your budget. Do either of you have jobs? It depends on the weather and the area you're in 

Check out what is going on locally. Are there amusement parks, mini golf, beaches, concerts, events, ice cream shops? What types of dates are you looking for? Fun? Romantic? 

Easy going and being able to talk might be like a picnic or park or strolling around after getting a snack. Ask the guy you're dating what he enjoys doing.

Meet in a park during the day.  Bring bread - like a baguette or a crusty bread - and cheese and fruit and maybe some sweets (and ice packs as needed lol so you don't poison him).  Walk all over the park, explore, then spread out a simple blanket and enjoy your simple meal.  

Go bowling.  

Go to a museum having a special exhibit you are both interested in. Last week I went with my family and a relative to a native american museum and it prompted a lot of conversation.

See if there is a live music performance or a local theater performance -that's more interactive than going to a movie.

It's fun to find a bougie cafe with street side seating, or go to a car show, music festival, mini golf, be a tourist in your own town and go see the sites, horseback riding, hike, hit the trail mountain biking, shoot some hoops together, go fishing, etc.

Walk,  park,  inexpensive picnic,  meet for coffee,  lunch,  miniature golfing,  etc.  Bowling is noisy,  loud and very distracting.  ☹️  Keep it simple,  calm and local.
