Liffey123
Hi guys, so I met this guy online and we have been texting for a bit. A couple of nights ago he started trying to sext. That was fine I didn’t care but since then he has not stopped. I mean literally no other conversation whatsoever just him trying to sext. It was fun at the start but I’m bored of it now. Is it rude of me to just block him? Or should I confront him? If so, what do I say? Thanks Link to comment
nutbrownhare
No, it's not rude to block him. Just do it. Link to comment
Storm100
Block him, he is very rude. You don't need to explain yourself. Link to comment
DaisyMayPorter
It’s disrespectful to you. He doesn’t even know you. Feel free to block him. I’ve blocked people if I just don’t feel like talking to them anymore. Link to comment
j.man
He didn't even have the courtesy to even give you a "thanks" after he finished. Block without shame. Link to comment
Liffey123
Just did it. Needed a push, thanks guys Link to comment
reinventmyself
There are adult sex sites where he can do that. Tell him to go there and stop poaching on dating websites Link to comment
annie24
I think if you're over the sexting thing, and he's not offering you something more interesting, block away.... Link to comment
j.man
And as an aside, while I actually pretty routinely argue against the point when folks suggest that getting sexual too soon after meeting someone intrinsically sabotages anything, I will say I've never once exchanged more racy texts / emails prior to a first date and then had that date go well, and that's assuming I didn't feel too awkward to go through with it. For whatever reason, it seems to prove difficult trying to segue from texts about riding a guy like a unicorn to meeting up and asking how he likes his job. Link to comment
Hollyj
If someone start sexting before you have even met and messed around, it means that they only want sext. Block after the first occurrence, then you will not waste time. Link to comment
