hpa
So the other day, I texted my friend something really funny but she took it the wrong and started calling me a certain name. A few hours later I apoligized for what i said but she said she needs space to evaluate our friendship. How much space do I give her? By the way... what I said was funny but also very mean Link to comment
Dahl
Hello and welcome to the forum. You kind of have to give her as much space as she requires, mate. Maybe I'm missing your question? If so, please restate? Thanks! Link to comment
JaggerJim
Why would you say something that had a mean connotation for? Were you trying to hurt her feelings? Link to comment
Wiseman2
Why did you do that? Were you mad at her or being passive-aggressive and disguising an insult/hurtful remark as a "joke"?what I said was funny but also very mean Link to comment
JaggerJim
Well we all need to hear this joke. Link to comment
rosephase
It doesn't matter what the joke is. When someone says: Give me space. You do. Period. That is what respecting another person looks like. Link to comment
catfeeder
How much space do I give her? She gets to decide that. I'd just leave her alone. By the way... what I said was funny but also very mean There's your test of jokes going forward. The only person it's ever 'safe' to joke about is yourself. If it's about anyone else, it's not going to come off as funny, just mean. Link to comment
MissCanuck
What made you think texting her something mean was a good idea? Leave her alone now. She will contact you if she wants. Link to comment
