Heather Dawn Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 Some of you may remember my posts about the bad situation at my job, where I was a Project Manager dealing with a terrible management situation, and was being overworked and underpaid - not to mention, bullied by the boss' wife. Most of you suggested that I quit asap, though I was determined stick it out for a year before I began looking for something new. Well, things came to a head and I ended up quitting on the spot one Monday afternoon. I was very lucky in that I started getting called for interviews immediately, and was hired by a wonderful company less than a week and a half after I quit. I'm now the Director of Customer Support at a place I love - at least so far - and have amazing hours (8am-4pm), great benefits, lots of PTO (plus 14 paid holidays off, in addition), wonderful co-workers, and it takes me about five minutes to get there from my apartment.
