It warms my heart to hear stories of people being treated well when they come to visit the USA. Glad you had such a good time. It actually reminds me of this comic I saw about how Americans tend to be seen as rude when they go to other countries but treat visitors very nicely: link removed

I am Canadian, yes. I have been to the US about 50 odd times or more but it was such a great trip and people were so great I had to mention it.
