justkeepon
As of lately, I been dealing with various people, mainly from a well-known social-media website (Starts with a "T") who show signs of disrespect towards me, mostly from people who don't even know me. The following traits are what the people think/show towards me: Others make assumptions about us Others believe they know what is best for us Others believe they know us better than we know ourselves That is a form of disrespect. For example, some people claim that I should find the man of my dreams, but that is totally not my prerogative, as I am a heterosexual male who is solely into females. Link to comment

agent1607307371
Yup, that sounds like people on the internet alright. All you can do is block and ignore them. Link to comment
bulletproof
The beauty of the internet is that you can quit and shut your computer, then walk away from it. You can also, as others have suggested, block people. Spending life worry about who is disrespecting you or not seems like a waste of time. Link to comment
thejigsup
Why would you care what complete strangers think of you? Ignore them. Link to comment
Fudgie
A lot of people on Twitter are just a bunch of nariscisstic, pumped up, stupid trolls anyway. I'd just ignore them. Link to comment
HeartGoesOn
It's best to ignore those who use the internet as a playground for fools. Link to comment
justkeepon
Update: The disrespect towards me continues. I can't stand when people think they know what I want and don't want, or they do know what, but make something up. That is wrong and very disrespectful. Link to comment
BritterSweet
It's the internet, it brings out the worst in people. Even someone who is normally okay in real life can become a total dirtbag due to the anonymity and lack of consequences. Link to comment
