I had to retire early because of health problems

And now I can't afford to support myself. I'm unable to work at all, and the small stipend that retirement gives me won't cover everything. I've applied for everything that I might be eligible for, since I have no children, I don't get much of anything.

 

I am in my early 50's. Is there anyone out there in my shoes? I'd certainly like to chat if there is!

Can you get disability? My father has been on disability for years, at least until he turned 65 and then he was able to receive his pension. Disability is not a huge amount but it is better than nothing. At least here there are a lot of medical benefits while on disability. My father got almost everything for free.
