Rant: good bye on-line dating!

I've never tried the online dating game, and don't want too. To me, it sounds like a waste of time and energy.

 

DYT, put that avvy picture up on a free site with a handle like "xxmistressofthedarkxx" and I guarantee you will get more entertainment than you could ever imagine.

I did all that....didn't work. I think the odds are stacked against the guys for on-line things.

 

I don't know about that, I'm doing rather well out of it.

 

Admittedly I joined three sites and two were complete write-offs, but link removed has set me up with four dates in next to no time, one I cancelled as I wasn't ready, the other went well, but again I wasn't ready after my ex and the third was perfect, and I'll be seeing her again this Saturday. I've also a fourth date tonight, but that is strictly for friendship in the new place I'm going to live.

 

The sites that were useless you have the confusing:

 

1. Winkers - who won't respond when you then say hi.

2. The people that wink, say hi, write about, then disappear.

3. The people that chat with you, all seems good and they disappear.

 

I suspect that there are people paid just to keep people interested.

 

So, anyone in Britain, I recommend link removed, maybe it is due to not having a chat facility that people seem keen to actually meet up!
