I am 18 and a senior in undergrad studying Marine Biology. I have a 3.99 GPA. So, listen to me when I say this: When you say, I really need to focus on this crap- The only thing you want to do is watch TV. Take a 15 minute break after every 2 hrs of studying, and on those 15 minutes, visualize yourself getting hundreds on your exams. While you're studying, break up the material into chunks- and repetition repetition repetition is the key. Find little memnonics and 'tricks' for remembering something. Also, stay as relaxed as possible, and don't pull all-nighters. Good Luck! I'm sure you'll do great!

I am 18 and have never had a serious boyfriend. I don't mind it, but everyone around me has some significant other, and it makes me feel lonely. I have been asked out by a couple guys, but I'm not attracted to them at all, and I really don't have time for a serious thing. However, I am worried that when I finally do have time, and want a boyfriend, the well will be dry. I don't want to compromise-I want to wait for the perfect man for me. Is there hope? Am I expecting too much?

In my opinion, you are not being unreasonable. I have never been in any sort of long-term relationship (I am 18), but I have a large family full of successful and unsuccessful marriages. As a woman, I would be threatened by this girl, give him an ultimatum. Say, "Pick dufus". If he chooses you-great. If he won't choose-leave him.
