ReadyorNot
Do you think it actually happens, where two married people get together.... they talk and talk and talk about getting together and are both so excited about it.... they get together once.... then continue to talk about it and about other things they want to try together...... and then they get together for a second time and then one person all of a sudden after a week, decides its wrong and backs out and wont talk anymore? RedDress
Extremely normal, almost predictable. I would say that something like this happens about 80% of the time (sometimes it takes much longer). This is why the 'standard' advice on here is to divorce if you are unhappy and to only date once you are already divorced and available (and not to date someone "freshly" broken up). Some of the advice stems from the morality of it all... but it's ALSO because it simply almost never works out the way you want it to. Link to comment
Keyman
By getting together you mean: Going on a date? or Doing the Hippy hippy shake? Either way, yes, I think it is highly possible. It is also highly possible that said person decided they didn't like what they saw in that person after a couple of get togethers and decided to just leave it. Link to comment
ReadyorNot
Definitely don't mean just going on dates since one person (who ended up feeling it was wrong) is extremely paranoid about knowing so many people in that town and getting caught... I'm not sure that person decided they didn't like what they saw.... Link to comment
MissCanuck
Do I think it actually happens? I think that's what usually happens. One person has a moment of moral guilt and drops the whole idea, knowing the damage and fall-out isn't worth it. Link to comment
Ziggy123
Who are you talking about? Was this you? If you had an affair you should take responsibility for it... Link to comment
