I would argue that porn is just a reflection of peoples aggregate feelings towards sex. It seems to me that people who have issues with sex, typically what I would call conservative views on how sex should be then they will have an issue with porn. It comes down to their idealistic beliefs about sex. What pornography does make light of is that there are so many different options as far as sex is concerned. It ranges from softcore to the most sexually depraived acts. I say what cheapens sex are peoples self destructive attitudes towards sex and the idea that sex has to be confined to certain "unoffensive" acts. Sex is a reflection of peoples lives and it is the same thing with pornography. Some things people just cant stand.

Well here's my view on it.

 

20 years ago it was mostly horny perverted old men watching porn. But now everyone is watching porn, it's not an uncommon thing anymore. Even most women watch porn now too.

 

This is a problem though, because we are all basing our sex lives too much on porn. Porn is fantasy. Most people can't seem to realize this.

 

Back when it was mostly men watching porn, only men were concerned with penis size when they saw male porn stars with 8" schlongs. But now that women watch porn too, women are also being concerned with their partner's penis size.
