shes2smart
If you're having muscle soreness, try soaking in the tub in warm water with Epsom salts mixed in (see the package for amount to use). If you don't have Epsom salts, soaking in plain warm water will help, too. You can also try using Icy Hot, BenGay or other similar topical cream/ointment for muscle soreness. Due to the odor of those things, though, I'd use them at night before you go to bed rather than in the daytime. Link to comment
Ipso Fracto Man
Are you talking about a chafing rash right on your inner thighs? If so... painful, isn't it? Rub some corn starch or baby powder on the area and leave your legs bare as much as you can over the next day or two. Ahhh, sweet relief. Link to comment
RelaxByWater84
You could try taking two Tylenol, that way you could take away the pain. I took that when I ran track and that helped. Link to comment
tackypersona
i think i'll just keep moving around, i noticed that if i sit for a while and then get up, i'd almost collapse. it was almost unnoticeable when i kept moving. would a warm shower do the trick? Link to comment
onewithbooks
If it is sore muscles, yes. If it is that try lightly massaging them. Do you have any Ben Gay? Link to comment
laboheme
When I have sore muscles from the gym, I stretch like a maniac, every chance I get. I've found that it helps the pain and releases a lot of tension in general...Heck, now I stretch even if I'm not working out... Link to comment
BBHFutureAllAmerican
since my muscle mass is so much higher than everyone else i always gotta do twice the stretching before practice or anything physical, drink pickle juice it works, drink water, get plenty of sodium n potassium, just take a nice hot bath for a while n drink some gatorade, take a couple aspirin before you go to bed but stretching is definitley a must, best of luck Link to comment
annie24
like the others said, drink lots of water, take a bath with epsom salts, and maybe even use the old fogie bengay patches! they are quite helpful! as you get more used to the exercise and your muscles buildup, this will be less of a problem.
