Problem during sex - inserting

Me and my girlfriend have a problem, for the first time we tried to have sex last night but we couldnt.

When I tried to insert my penis it wouldnt go in, and she claimed it hurt - I understand she isn't a virgin as she has had sex once before. When I put my fingers up there, I felt a really large hard lump that was obstruction her vagina hole. The weird thing is, its not there when she is not turned on; but as soon as she gets a bit horney it swells up again.

 

I assurred her it wasn't a problem and we will try and find a way to work around it, we really want to have sex but there is this big problem ahead of us. We do foreplay lots before anything happens although maybe I haven't done enough? I read on other posts it might be her PC gland and maybe she was just a little tense.

The only lube we was using was her natural wetness and a lubbed condom. I think it may be about the nervous thing, as it did seem impossible to insert, even awkward to get one finger inside - although once past the obstructed point it felt normal.

 

Next time we will try more foreplay, but if that doesnt help i will update you.
