It's summer...it's hot...how to NOT look sleazy?

I have a first date tomorrow and I'm thinking of wearing like a miniskirt and a cute top..or a cute sundress...

but how do I wear summer clothes during the summer and setting a first impression on a first date WITHOUT looking sleazy?

well, there are a zillion and one outfits that are fit for summer and are not trashy.

 

I think a sun dress is a lovely idear.

 

As longs as its not super low cut in the bress-ta-siz and has a huge slit up the leg....

Generally speaking cotton is always a good way to go, it breaths well so you can cover more without getting too hot. I like the summer stuff that Old Navy had this season, the linen skirts are cute and comfy and the tops cover enough to stay conservative and cool. Plus its cheap. I always go with the idea of only showing off one thing at a time, if I wear a low cut blouse I wear jeans or a longer skirt, short skirt and a more conservative top. If you go all low cut and short skirt that tends to look more 5luty and tacky.

I agree - sundress.

 

I also have a bunch of light and flowy caftans. Those seem to work well also, with a skirt maybe a bit above the knee.

Cotton...great for the breathability.

skirts and a nice, light colored top are nice. I wish I looked good in skirts but I tend to wear nice khaki pants and a short sleeved top

I love capris and a fitted tank top myself. I'm not much for skirts and dresses, I pretty much only wear them when I am trying to go for va-va-voom!
