What do you consider the most romantic accent?

Austrailain Accents all the way!!! So cool. And for some reason...Irish accents. When I bartended, there was this Irish lad here on business staying at a hotel nearby. He came into the bar every night he was there to have a drink and dinner. I would ask him silly questions just to hear his accent. I think they are comforting and the most "homey" accents around.

For all you southern US women that I speak to on the phone on a daily basis, your accents are far and away my favourite. Followed closely by Austrailian.

british and kiwi are cool too but i can't understand sometimes. i have to ask them to repeat it ( which makes them think i'm not paying attention to the words they say)....LOL

But us Brits don't have accents (in the South anyway), the rest of the world have added accents to our language ;-)

Or is it the city slicker, Nicole Kidman/Cate Blanchett type accent?Just curious.

 

btw I love Irish accents, particularly on a man with a nice deep voice...Colin Farrell....

I don't think the problem is that its not clear its more, the way they use words that have a different meaning to them then something to us would and then it confuses us.........thats just what I think, others may or may not agree with me.....everyone is entitled to there own opinion!

I personally like Irish and Slovakian. I know the Slovakian one is weird. My great uncles say a lot of things in the Slovak language. Mostly swear words hehe. I wasn't allowed to look those words up when I was younger.

I think a really posh British accent is quite a turn on for an attractive and charming guy, sort of like Hugh Grant. It makes them seem more manly and in control...

For the foreigners, I'd say French tops it

In the states, I like the Louisiana type accents , you know like down around "Nawlins" ( New Orleans ) .

 

I have the southern accent , being from Alabama. I don't think I sound like a hick or anything, but I do have the drawl I suppose.

As for accents, as im british it really doesnt have an effect on me, but i guess i like the Aussie accent.

Hence there are differnt British twangs as my mother says, just like Canadians we all have the same accent but we have a twang depending on where you live in Canada, as in some regional dialects.....

Any foreign accent is great for me. Latin accents are probably my favorites... mostly spanish and italian, but I've heard some very attractive german accents too (I know that might seem weird).
