You have to know what you want and whether you're willing to put in the work required for success. ...Also--patience is a requirement. I've read married people can fall in and out of love through the their marriages. But--it's that /understanding, hope/faith and commitment that sustains a marriage through turbulent times.

 

I remember hearing an older couple who had been married 45 years being interviewed, and asked about the success of their marriage.

 

He said: "A short memory and long patience". Heh heh
