I think I beat the record of not being in a relationship for 8 years now

It was May 2007 (I was then 20 years old) the last time I got intimate with my then bf. I'll be getting back in the dating world at some point in the near future. I just haven't had the chance, time or met anyone yet.

 

Way back in 2011 or 2012, all I did was go out on a couple dates and that's it. Never led to anything other than hanging out and talking. I feel like a virgin to be honest, even though I'm not. Though it's not late to find a partner at some point is it? I don't want kids, just a relationship.

If you're not looking for kids then you can start a relationship at any time. It doesn't matter how long it has been since you dated either. It might feel a bit strange to start with because the "rules" change, especially as a lot of people expect instant replies to mobile texts, etc EVEN when a person is busy at work.

 

I was in my mid 30s when I met my wife and some people meet partners at even greater ages than that.

I would say its never too late, especially for 28 year old. But you need to make the time for it.
