oitnb
If you believe you were raped in the past, but aren't sure, would you tell your s/o? For no other reason besides to get it off your chest. Link to comment
annie24
maybe better to discuss it with a therapist first...? Link to comment
Cheetarah
Is it a not sure as in memory issue, or not sure as in "I don't know if it was really rape"? Link to comment
oitnb
Memory issues, you somehow blocked it out and recently remembered the whole event. Link to comment
Seraphim
I told my husband about my being raped. I felt he deserved to know. But it is up to each person to decide. Link to comment

Seraphim
Well it is certainly up to you to decide . It is your experience and life. What I felt was I personally had some issues and intimacy issues and I felt I could not have a successful relationship if my husband did not know. Link to comment
oitnb
I feel that way too vic. Sometimes I think about it and get in such sad moods, and he'll ask me what's wrong but I can't really tell him. My main worry is the fact that he knows the guy. They are old old old friends. Seraphim
You do not have to say who. Link to comment
compwhiz345
I wouldn't just come right out and say it, but I would definitely consider hypnotherapy so someone could diagnose your thoughts and memories while you're unconscious. Link to comment
