What Do You Men Think About Bleached Blondes?

Whether it's their natural hair color or not doesn't matter to me.

But if she does dye it, it better have been a good job. This is where Asian girls usually fail because they're too cheap to go to a hair stylist to get it done professionally, so their hair turns bright orange when they don't do it properly. But that's another thing, I hate it when Asian girls go blonde, even if it was done professionally and nicely because it's too fake on them.

I see a lot of Asian girls in my area walking around with orange hair (almost like a carrot colour). Either that colour is very popular in some circles, or they failed to bleach their hair first before applying blonde hair dye.

On occasion, I also spot the odd Asian girl with light blonde hair, and her locks are fried. The hair appears to have the texture of straw and the ends are just split. There is a great temptation on my part to drag her to the nearest Sally's Beauty store to buy some good conditioner and oil treatments to salvage her hair before it starts to break off. I do not know why they willingly do this to themselves. It just takes away from their physical attractiveness.

I'm talking Britney Spears and the sort.

I really like her hair color but most women that have it, it's not theirs to begin with. There's part of me that likes the natural hair color that I have because it's natural. And another that likes the blondes.

What do you men like? Women with their natural color hair? Most women are dark hair colored, even for blondes. I am a dirty blonde, but not entirely a brunette.

Do you like women more natural looking? Or you don't care which way she dyes her hair? Or whatever she likes? Etc.

I like it neat and natural looking, even if upon close inspection it turns out to be 'unnatural', that is, dyed. (which seems to be the case with just about any nice looking woman these days. At least where I live.) I personally have a thing for Asian women, and their naturally jet-black hair I find so striking and attractive that I think any sort of dye-enhancement will take away from that. (the same goes for middle-eastern women, IMO.) With Caucasian women there are many really good ways like dyes, highlights, etc that can indeed make them look more striking and neat. Here in Germany, there are many blondes that look really nice and natural with their hair, but if you look close it's almost always dyed.

So if you use it tastefully and dress nicely with it, go for it, I just think that's the taste of the current times. However if you're talking bleached-blonde like bang-on cheesy blonde like a pornstar ... HO-RRI-BLE, if you ask me. (I think that look would be the female equivalent to a tomatosauce-coloured bodybuilder with ridiculous Popeye-muscles.)

Actually now to think of it, and I know this sounds shallow as ----. But, I noticed average to slightly above average women look better with blonde hair. Basically it enhances their look when otherwise they wouldnt stand out. Due to this, I remember telling my ex (who was a brunette) that other colored hair women who can pull it off are just more beautiful since they dont have to enhance their look. I have noticed a lot of cute girls who dropped their blonde color and look average afterwards.

It's not shallow, I was told the way to see how beautiful a woman is is to imagine them bald! Not every woman would look great as it's their hair that carries them.

I'm a natural dark brunette and went blonde for years, after a particularly bad root retouching home job I decided to go back to my natural colour. The second i looked in the mirror it was my eyes that i noticed, they'd kind of faded into the background when i was blonde.

Being bleach blonde myself currently, and having been a brunette in the past; I think I got more attention when I had brown hair. Not sure why this was, the hair color I have now *does* stand out but I think people don't take me as seriously. Kind of ridiculous, because it's just hair. I also think men prefer brunettes over blondes when it comes to anything more than a one night stand. In my experience, about 98% of guys I've met assumed I was the "wild" type.

If you believe all of what you wrote than it kind of begs the question: why do you continue to bleach your hair?

Do you mean Platinum blonde?

I think any hair color that is done well and maintained looks great on a woman. I don't care for the non natural colors though. You know the ones that have a purple tint or a shade that has never accurred in nature.

Highlighting what you already have seems to be the most popular.

For the record they do attract attention but I am drawn to more than just their hair.

I have very light blonde hair right now (my natural hair colour is a darker blonde), I sure hope I wouldn't be described as "bleached blonde" because I do try to make my hair colour look as natural as possible (apart from my half blue hair stage a few years ago). I'm very pale so the hair isn't so out of place. Funnily my eyes are dark and so are my eyebrows but my natural colour is definitely blonde, some people insist I am a natural brunette without ever having seen my natural colour. Personally I like the difference, it makes my dark eyes stand out.

I wouldn't reccomend the colour for everyone though. I have a friend who is very pale too but with blue eyes and light eyebrows and I think light blonde hair would make her look washed out and kind of ghostly and her dark hair suits her much better. I don't believe blondes get more attention (other than perhaps for a split second if they have very very bright hair!), when I've been out with said friend it seems we're given pretty equal attention. It just depends on what suits you.

My horribly stereotyped view:

Bleached blonde hair has always seemed like a desperate ploy for attention. While it can certainly make for great eye candy, it also tells me that I should avoid those women as dating material. It definitely has lasting appealing to a certain... breed... of men though, and I feel that those men are a perfect counterpart to the bleached blonde valley girl stereotype. I'd be quite content if they all paired off and left the gorgeous natural girls to the rest of us!

I really really don't like the bleached Blonde look. It just looks too, fake and I don't mean to be rude saying that. It just looks like the women in question is trying a wee tad too hard (imo) to grab attention. What usually happens is I will notice her faster but then I'll also realize soon after that she dyed her hair that way and then I get kind of turned-off.

I'm a real sucker for long natural hair on women.

I do wonder, do people consider any shade of blonde that isn't the person's natural colour to be "bleached blonde"?, as in the fake look? I really don't want people to think I'm that sort of girl just because I do have dyed light blonde hair, I tried to keep it natural looking. I just find my natural shade of blonde kind of dull.

I liked Kate Hudson's bleached blonde look. On lots of women, blonde is definitely more flattering!

I think Kate Hudson looked better as a blonde personally, that's not to say dark hair is less attractive, just on her it doesn't look as good.

I'm sure you know what is best on you, Unknown.

I think dirty blonde hair that is bleached a bit lighter is gorgeous and it's obvious that MANY others do. Most people wouldn't judge your character by your hair color. I think a lot of people are intimidated by women that stand out. So consider that when you hear negative comments. I would do mine blonde in a heartbeat, only my hair is way too dark to make it blonde. It goes from brown to copper to GRAY!

I get really bothered by the blonde stereotypes they don't fit me at all and I don't want to be seen that way! I think some types of blonde hair can look trashy when combined with a certain look but very unnatural looking dark hair can have the same effect. Every hair colour is beautiful on the right person, it all depends what suits the individual.

You mean like this maybe?

I think she would look that way no matter what color the hair was dyed, just with all the other things combined.
