Bit of a setback

Broke up with my fiance of 14 years 15 months ago. Went through the normal ups and downs but was in a really good place. Then in the last few weeks I've run into her twice out on the town. I barely talked to her the first time and left as soon as we recognised each other the second. She sent a "why can't we be nice to each other" e-mail after the first meeting. Other than that I've been in strict NC.

 

Just bugs me that even after all this time just seeing her can get to me. I've been though this before and I know how long real healing takes but I thought I was better than this. It just makes me angry. Anyway, just wanted to vent.

I'm sorry to hear that man. I see my ex end of every week because I have to pick up my kids from her and trust me I know what you mean. Seeing is one thing but what irks me is the messages or having to hear them. Hang in there, we'll make through it.
