Is it weird to send my BF's parents mom/dad day cards?

Let me say, we've been together 5 years and I get along great with his parents. I of course send my mom/grandmas and grandpas cards too, but this year, I decided to send his mom and dad cards as well. Just to let them know what they mean to me and how much I appreciate them being there for me and accepting me. His mom loved it and i'm positive his dad will love it too. They have said they see me as the daughter they never had.

I don't think it's weird at all. I have sent my boyfriends mom flowers and chocolates on her birthday and she absolutely loved it. People always love to know that they are appreciated.

I don't see why this would matter. You have been together for 5 years. Maybe if you want to send a card with both your names on it or something. I think it's great that you have a good relationship with you bf's parents!

I don't think it's weird at all, especially since you have been together for quiet awhile. I've only been with my boyfriend for nearly 6 months and last month we went halves on his mum's birthday present. It's not such a big deal, for me anyway

His dad LOVED the card I sent him. He's so amazing that he told me that he hopes he can live up to the words in the card. Seriously, I need to be living up to THEIR expectations, not the other way around (which obviously, I have none. And I shouldn't have any)! And he told me he has no expectations. Man, I love that man. lol
