BellaDonna Posted December 15, 2009 Share Posted December 15, 2009 I think this is one of those situations where silence will only cause more damage, hurt feelings, and more misunderstandings on both ends. I would try calling your sis. Since they don't want your GF to "keep you away from them" (in their view) what really underlies that emotion is missing you, and they wouldn't miss you if they didn't love you. Don't give up your values and stand by your GF- but offer the olive branch and let them know that you miss them too and that you hope they will accept your life choices. Link to comment
