treehouse7888
is it better to say 'i Love you' a lot or less? my b/f asked me if he says it too much, he told me tonight he feels bad that he says that a lot because he says he doesnt want me to get sick of hearing it. i don't mind but i guess i dont want it to lose meaning. what do you think? should i tell him to stop saying it so much or leave it alone? and why do you think he says it a lot? Capricorn3
I have always believed that if you feel it, and want to say it, then you should and I don't think it would be seen as saying it "too much" and losing it's meaning. However, saying it just for the sake of saying it, then yes, it WILL be too much and lose it's meaning (imo). There is a difference between the two. Link to comment
SapphireNoir10
I dont like to hear it too much because it looses its meaning, I'd rather less than more. Link to comment
bit3yerlip
just tell him that it doesnt matter as long as he means it when he says it. Link to comment
littlestar
If you love someone why not tell them every minute of every day. I like hearing it from the one i love. Link to comment
_Asti_
We say it constantly. It hasn't lost meaning, because when we do say it..I can tell by the look in his eye and the sound in his voice. Sometimes it becomes habit, like at the end of a phone conversation... But I never say it without meaning it, so it can't really lose meaning, can it? Plus actions play a large part. To me, they go together. Link to comment
