watupgangsta
so a girl tells you during a conversation that she had a bad day. does that mean she wants you to ask about it? or does it mean you should be extra nice and cheer her up or what? Link to comment
amure
often they just want you to listen (e.g: what happened? are you ok?). dont tell them what to do in that situation unless they ask. Link to comment
JeckyllNHyde
They just want you to listen. Oh and tip in situations when a woman is just ranting about a bad day: just listen listen listen. Don't try and be mr. fix it. She will just get mad or annoyed and won't appreciate it. Just like amure mentioned. Don't try and fix it. Link to comment
shikashika
or maybe she just is letting you know? or maybe she wants to be left alone. I know when I've had a bad day i just want to go home, be alone and stuff my face!! (get her some chips and dip!!.. ha ha) Link to comment
ActionJackson
In about 95% of cases, yes she wants you to listen. But maybe she wants your advice, depending on the situation. It would probably be smart to not say much, but just a little may not hurt. If she asks about what do to on something, she probably trusts you. So I have experianced. Link to comment
Haven
I personally would want to be cheered up (by getting ice cream or something). Reliving my bad day just makes me feel worse. Link to comment
metrogirl
Yep, agree with the others. When I have a bad day, I just want him to listen, not say anything, just listen and let me vent. A little hug after always makes me feel better. Link to comment
hear_her_roar
I can't speak for all girls, but when I say something like that it usually means that I'd like them to ask about it, but that I don't want to just come out and SAY it. Ask her if she wants to talk about it. If not, just let her know you're there for her. Link to comment
ghost69
i'd be like 'dam what happened?' if she says she doesn't, i say 'ok'. Link to comment
v-neck
I agree, simply ask without being overly-sensitive, once you say something like "you wanna talk about it",either she'll let it all out or say no, just be sure you ask if she's ok. Link to comment
