thanks man, thats exactly what my friend told me last night as I told him about the situation. Yeah, I'm just gonna chalk it up as "at least I tried." The other hottie I was chattin up, well shes giving me that "not interested" vibe as well. no biggie

soooo... for anyone that is interested, i finally got a chance to talk to her again. i walked up from behind and asked how her weekend was. she said it was ok, then asked how mine was. i commented on the nice weather and then asked when she would be available to do lunch or something alone those lines. she said she was too busy this week and next week, but "maybe soon." I just said "ok, kool" and was about to ask for her number, but she said, "bye then" and walked off. my friend and her friend overheard the convo (since they were behind us) and my friend said "hey, she didnt say no" and her friend said, "sounds like shes making excuses." oh well, at least i tried again. no biggie, im transferring from this city to another city about 8 hours away in 3 months...

hmmm... still getting mixed responses... but thanks all. the roomie was here the last two days. she was babysitting a puppy and was here ALL day both days just watching tv while surfing the internet. left a bunch of trash and dishes everywhere. guess who gets to clean that up? oh fun. u never really know someone until you live with them

ahh i feel ya on that. yeah the friends i have from the car club are kool, but nothing like my friends from home. i dont really have anything to say on that because, well, i havent made any friends at my college that can hold a candle to my friends from home.

if a gal believed her "friend" over me and then punched me in the jewels, yeah I think its time to call it quits. trust issues = no thank ya. but i do hope things work out for ya. maybe you should take some anger management classes

now that i think about it, its kind of nice not having someone around in the apartment, especially cuz when shes around, her bf is, and hes rude. so I think Im just gonna suck it up and pay the gas and electric bill. If she starts sticking around the apartment more often (like she did when he dumped her for a week) than Ill mention the bill to her. thank ya!

Ok, therealshrek here again with another roomie thread. Ok so my roomie and I share a 2 bedroom apartment. When we moved in together, we agreed to go half n half on the bills. After awhile, she offered to pay the gas and electric bill as long as I took care of the internet bill. our G&E bill was usually $15-$20/month and the internet bill was $20/month. About two months ago, the G&E bill went up to about $30/month and the internet bill up to $45/month. Thing is, the roomie is never here anymore. She lives with her boyfriend now and stops by once a week to get clean clothes. We leave bills on top of the microwave and I've noticed that she never checks them. When I asked her about her paying the gas and electric bill, she replied with, "umm... I'm never here to use any electricity." Should she still pay her share of the bills even though she's never here? Ive gotten mixed advice from friends. It angers me a bit because its not my choice that shes never here. I have no control over that. At least she pays her share of the rent, I guess...

join a club/group that centers around the same interests as you. for example, I'm part of a car crew and have made some good friends from it. several of the guys from it go to the same college as i do and we meet up at least once a week to do dinner and talk cars

had her for class again today. didnt get a chance to talk with her during the class but after class, she was pretty far ahead of me in the hallway and I didnt want to look like a dork by joggin over to catch up with her... plus she went into a bathroom and I'm definitely not standing outside the bathroom to talk to her... did chat it up with another cute gal in a different class
