I also agree with you guys, I am new in town but with more experiences than your favorite soap opera... I think it all falls on your principles brother, I mean if you are very good friends, kind of like brothers then id say ditch the chick and set a good example, but then again how well do you know this friend, would he do the same for you?? just take it easy and see how things go but I think is a really bad idea cause they had a thing together, and chance are they are gonna be in plenty of places together if she dates you, would you feel comfortable going to the movies and then using the restroom while you leave them all alone or are you gonna be paranoid they are doing things behind your back?

Oh yeah dude been there too, "The lets be friends" thing is trully possible but like you winning the lotto the chances are really slim, if she is not your gf right now is because she doesnt want you for anything else other than comfort... and think about it, what you two gonna be talking about eh?? how hot the guy she is dating now look??? if you werent enough for her man, go and prove her wrong, go find yourself someone 10 times better, and cut most links... not all cause like they say where there was a fire ashes remain...so it could always spark up again some day but dont hold your breath.. you dont wanna be the fat ugly kid of the relationship you know the one that everyone talks to cry her eyes out and then go bang the other dude.....not worth it. if you are old id be worried if you are young brother hehe keep her number for a booty call in the future.

Best way to beat your shyness am an expert at that, take the scientific approach, talk to chix you dont find attractive and flirt with them, that way you got nothing to lose and even better you are not shy cause you are not in love with her, youll see the things that work and not and then youll build up enough confidence to realize most of the people you find good looking are also very unsecure cause they are constantly judge by their appearance, then youll have the hold of the relationship just be carefull sometimes the people that are attractive are also dumb and dull and thats just horrible...... been there and done that....Its all confidence my brother
