m_darko
This hole is my sunken temple My place of worship and solitude I've settled here in this tomb of desiccated selfishness Like a beggars masquerade of wealth I am happy and content Green eyes are upon me Not from amazement or intrigue You laugh and smile and touch But you do not know me You seek to care for others only to compensate for your humdrum existence An existence which we both share I will give no compassion I know the truth A simple manifestation of happiness has brought you to me It will only end in pain You are not a friend, you’re an infliction An emotional mistake Levitation may be my only friend It sits on a shelf in my room…waiting There are others I know and like But none make me fly like you do Link to comment
