what would you call a long relationship? 6 months, a year? longer?

 

personally i've only been datings my gf for 6 months and it feels like much much longer.

uh thats not good?! I've been dating by BF for 3 years and it feels like so much less thats the feeling you want! You know eachother, but not too long to be sick of eachother. Do you get me? and six months is a while but a year or more i think is a little more concrete.

I think the definition of "long" changes as you get older. To early 20s, 2 years was probably classified as "long". Now in late 30s I'd plump for 5 years plus as defining a "long" relationship.

Honestly it depends on the relationship and the connection

 

Me and my fiance got engaged in 3 months of a relationship I do not regret it.

 

However there were some girls I dated that In the first month I wasn't near as close to them.
