I agree. In my case, my friend had dumped her ex and refused to get back with him, despite his pleading. she also had a new boyfriend. which is why I was so taken aback for being yelled at for just hanging out with this guy - I wasn't even interested in him! she had told me so many times he was mediocre in bed, I really didn't have any interest in finding out for myself.

 

Anyways, maybe it is possible that the friend thought you were over him? who broke up with whom? maybe she didn't realize until the next morning that she had made a faux pas and that's why she was being a little stand-offish in the morning....
