I wish there was a quick and painless way of killing myself.

Recommended Posts

I think he has stated his overall goal/s of getting girl etc. But first things first and there is no point in giving advice that is not really ognna happen until some primary steps are taken.

Um, what do you thing taking meds, and seeing a psychologist is? I'm also trying to push myself to do things that I wasn't able to do before.

Yet people, expect me to suddenly jump up, do friggin cartwheels down the street, get a job, ask women I don't even know for phone numbers on the street, and dive into bars or clubs on my own and start partying.

I'm sorry if the fact that I can't do that means I don't listen, I'm selfish and I'm not willing to try and sort my life out.

I am actually seriously considering getting a job and/or going to college to get a qualification that will enable me to do a job that I'll enjoy with a good future, and to start driving lessons again.

Does anyone else see a pattern here? I think Ross is bored (amoung other things). What I see is that you have no job, no relationship with your mom, no relationship with peers, you go nowhere for entertainment, you order in food instead of going out to eat!? You have no hobby (except ENA) and no one to converse with! I think you lack attention and know that when you post a thread, like this one, you will have some sort of human interaction for the day.

I know it's part of your SA, however, one can use these excusses because they lack desire to function with the rest of the world. Some ppl, and I am not saying this IS you, use an excuse to hide behind so they don't have to work or develope social skills. Some are too lazy and some just don't see a great need if they have someone else paying the bills and meeting there needs for them.

One thing that bothers me is that after you wrote the first post about how to kill youself, then you have later stated 'don't worry, I wont kill myself'. Now why do this? For attention? That isn't funny. And you should never say that if it isn't a real thing going on with you , just to get attention when your other threads have become boring and ppl arn't interested in them anymore.

I have noticed that almost everyday you post a new topic of tramua! I am not at all trying to be mean, I think you are seriously lonely..... THAT, is the underlying problem. You need a life...

Thanks for sharing your opinion (because that is all it is)

Oh and I never said I wanted to kill myself. Maybe you should re-read the first post.

"I wish there was a quick and painless way of killing myself".

These are your words!!!! so what were you trying to say then?

Since when does saying I wish there was a quick and painless way of killing myself mean that I'm actually going to kill myself right now?

Ross, what do you get up for in the morning?

Think about what you'd like to wake up to.

Work towards getting it.

I don't get up for anything.

I'd like to be able to wake up to a woman lying there beside me.

Getting it though seems complicated, unless I pay an escort around £1500 - £2000 to stay there overnight.

Concentrate on getting through therapy and achieving that, take small steps. Like try going for just one drink in a local pub once a week? If you assume your going to be rejected anyway, what are you going to lose?

And the UK is an awesome please to live.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to do, taking baby steps and pushing the bounderies that little bit further. As for the UK, I feel like I don't really relate to the typical UK person, whereas people from the US they seem to be totally my sort of people. I feel like if I lived over there I'd totally fit in there.

Ross I read something you wrote way back and it was this...

Think about that and it's profound meaning on the rest of your life if you continue to think like that. Change now.

That's just a frame of mind I sometimes go in, usually if I have a bad experience which seems to prove I'm correct.

Hi mate.

Are you getting any therapy or support for your anxiety? Sorry if this is a repeat question but I haven't read all your posts.

I would personally concentrate on achieving one thing at one time, otherwise you will just over consume yourself. If one thing depends on another, which in turn depends on something else..... it puts too much pressure on achieving your first goal.

I also wouldn't personally think about moving countries at the moment as it is a massive step, you won't know anybody there and there will be no family to fall back on. Moving countries is a massive step for anyone, let alone going yourself.

How about an office job to start with and build yourself up? These will contain mostly professional people so you should not encounter any bullying - everybody will be too scared to get the sack!! A lot of the companies in the UK, especially government owned, will let you go to college on day release. This way you'll get a wage, get a qualification and can start to overcome your social fears by mixing with work colleagues. Then after you've saved some money you can get your car and driving lessons.

Been here all along. Now do you have your resume done? Do you know what kinda jobs you woud lie to do?

I ain't got a clue.

Maybe I'll wait and see if things improve more with the meds first, it's not like the world is going to explode next week or anything.

You say you are taking baby steps!

What are the steps you have taken thus far? (from the very first post now to this one)

Anything past a thought?

Ah but thats the beauty of life Ross, you never do know when will truly all end. Again though this what you say everytime a concrete answer is asked of you. "I see how XYZ is first". I mean you must have a clue of things you like. Things you would like to do. So what are they?

Hmmm, I don't think that's true.

A car mechanic, a race driver, I dunno.
