Nude Self Portraits

Hi,

 

I miss my GF..For a long time she's wanted to photograph me nude.

 

I decided to try myself and was surprised to get some nice images. Nice light. each I picked and am readying for her are quite taseful although a couple are more provacative.

 

Out of 7 , 3 are basically penis portraits but not porno. In one I have an erection and is sorta blurry...

 

So what's the wisdom of this? Being a guy I look at porn occationally and find most of it sorta mean not at all loving so I avoid it.

 

I wish I could post them here but am pretty sure that would be frowned upon so won't..But with what i've told you Ladies how would you react to this?

 

She's out of town for a month (aarrgghhh!) so I'm deciding wether to actaully send a link to where they are safely hidden!

 

Thanks for understanding that I'm not trying to be a pervert but only trying to show her....me.

You could encrypt them and email her the pics.

i don't see anything mean, unloving or even pornographic about sending pictures of your body to a GF who has already expressed interest in such things. i think it's really cool, and from what you say, i bet she will too.

I think there is nothing wrong with pictures, I love pictures. I've had pictures taken of me and I think it's just one more fun thing for two people to do.

Just remember once they are on the net, they are potentially all over the net. Now what happens to the pictures if the relationship fails? Do you ever plan on being successful in life where if pictures like this ever surfaced they may damage your career or reputation? Don't think for a moment that the one person who these pictures are intended for is the only person who will see them. Have you ever sent an email and regretted it, well once these pictures leave your computer, you're toast. Taking pictures with a loved one can be very fun and erotic but putting them on the net is another issue. Think it over a little longer.

Mostly curves and shadow and light. Nothing where an aquantance would be able to know it was me.

I know that I wanted my ex-bf to do it. Not b/c I didn't see him often, just for the heck of it what can I say? he was my hottie.

 

Although we had a pretty mean breakup, and I can be a little immature at times, I wouldn't dare think of doing something horrible like making them publicly known or anything. But you say that you can't tell they are of you, so go for it \\

My ex-wife used to take nude pictures of me. Usually when I was getting dressed or coming out of the shower or when I was sleeping. It seemed like a cute hobby until I found out that she was giving them out to friends so they could make fun of me. One of those friends ended up sending one of those pictures to one of those "Gay Bear Lover" sites and it got posted. I was so humilated by the whole experience that I have a major adversion to seeing myself nude. I've taken out all the mirrors in my house and even shower in my underwear just so I can't look at "it".

 

I don't know if I'll ever get over it, but my own recommendation is that you don't post the pictures.

i would be careful if i were u. my ex let me take pictures like that of her, and it was fun, but then she cheated on me. i got really drunk and put them up online and put the link in my away message. i took them down when i got sober, but i think alot of people saw. i didn't stop drinkning for almost 2 days, i hurt so much. so just be careful

It is a risk I guess (what your GF could do with them if you broke up) but if they are tasteful and whatever, then whats the worse that can happen? And, beyond the people closest to you, who would really care anyway? There must be millions of different naked bodies on the internet.

I should have stated I'm a photographer by trade. I have a wonderful studio and specialize in portraiture.

 

I would be flattered to have my images shared the world over. Nothing embarrassing in the least.

 

I feel pretty good about it. I'd be happy to post them elsewhere if others would like to give an opinion. I'm stating this as an artists not an exhibitionist. I'm new here and if this offer is inappropriatte I won't pursue the matter.

About 20 years ago I made some similar pictures together with my gf. The operator developing the pictures developed "red eyes".

 

Since then, I have not tried again as I would not find it exciting and would refuse a suggestion given the potential for abuse. You have a business - would it be worth it?

 

After all, relationship, real feel, taste and smell is what is exciting. I omit the looks here, what am I going to do when I am 70 and she is 60 - only 25 years to go you know

i think i just solidified my position on this whole photo issue. head shots, yes. yummy bits, fine. but never the twain shall meet.
