im falling for a male friend of mine, hes been there for me when me and my bf broke up, i dont want this feelings for him as i know he dosnt feel the same way...... how do i stop this with out loosing him as a friend xxxxx

i just do, he tells me about a girl he likes who isnt me i know that for sure, its so hard as i wouldnt mind having feelings for him, if they were returned

One of the things that i know i've read on tips for guys sites.. is to ask someone your interested in for help with another girl.. don't take everything at face value you never know. Look in the poetry section i think its called "my so called best friend" just search for "my so called" in poetry and youll find it.. might convince you.

personally, if a girl i liked was with another guy, and i was comforting her, I don't think I would tell her that I like her then and there. Who knows, maybe your friend knew that it would be akward to tell you especially since you already had a boyfriend? And you should realize this much, he cares for you enough to help you through tough times. If you have been able to share intimate feelings about your relationship thus far, this shouldn't be a problem

Plus if he is a real friend then you shouldn't have any problem asking him. The way I see I'd rather have real friends that tell me the truth than to have aquaintances that tell me anything.
