Do the reasons differ?

Was wonder about those who do forgive (only applying to those). Do the reasons why girls forgive their guys/hubbies after they cheat vs, for the guys who forgive their gals/wives. Do their reason for staying with the cheater differ? I heard for girls, that it's cuz they reason with emotions more than with logic, wut wut about them guys who stay with cheaters.

Actually, I've heard that its a lot more common for a woman to stay with a cheating man, and a man is a lot more likely to break up with a woman over infidelity. This is because men place more of an emphasis on the sex act than women do and its more territorial for them.
