steff
ok, here is one of my little problems. for the past three years i have been having a sleeping problem, like i can sleep for 11 hours and still be tired all day. my family told me i was sleeping to much, so i tried cutting it back to 8 hours a night, and i was still really tired. they then told me that it was my diet, so i joined a gym and have lost 10kg, and have changed my diet to pretty much no junk food. but im still tired, so i went to the doctors to have a blood test, and they say nothing is wrong. but for the last couple of nights i havent been able to make it past 7:30pm and i will sleep till 6-7 the next morning. what is wrong with me??? im still tired all day. what should i do??? melrich
Do you sleep during the day? How many doctors have you seen? I think you should may be think about seeing a specialist, particularly someone who specialises in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Google it up and read about it then decide if it may match your symptoms but I definitely think you should get it checked out. Link to comment
Serendipity1607307077
I have a similar thing, except I don't do any exercise!! Have you considered that you may have depression?? This can affect your sleeping patterns.. Link to comment

This doesn't sound normal to me. You say no matter how much or how little you sleep, you still wake up feeling tired. I'd suggest complaining again to your doctor and if you don't get a better answer, then try another doctor. If this has been a problem for 3 years it seems you need to see a sleep specialist. It could be a sleep disorder where you aren't getting to the level of deep REM sleep. And there are several things that may be happening to prevent you from getting proper and restful sleep. The source of this problem could be serious or not, and the solution could also be an easy or difficult one. But a sleep specialist is the one who could best determine that. Keep bugging the doctor until you get a real solution. Link to comment
CtinaDitty
Michelle Akers, former US Women's Soccer Team Player, amazing, btw, had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She was always tired, sometimes to the point where she couldn't get up. She was always soo tired! I'd get this checked out if I were you. Good Luck! Link to comment
